The official opening of the new Mannan Castle 18hole course and clubhouse will take place on Sunday week when Leas Cheann Comhairle and local TD Rory O'Hanlon will cut the tape to mark the occasion. Founded in 1993, Mannan Castle opened its first nine holes in May 1994. The club is situated in Donaghmore, two-and-a-half miles from Carrickmacross and serves members from Armagh, Cavan, Meath and Monaghan. The club is an equal rights club with the 500 men and women enjoying the same facilities. Green fees are a generous £15 per round and visitors and societies are very welcome. The first open week on the new lay-out will be from July 16th to 23rd.
