Paul Carberry missed three rides at Fairyhouse yesterday and will also miss out at Gowran today after his knee swelled up following a fall at Tramore on Tuesday.
Anker Ring fell at the second last in the Beginners Chase at Tramore which was only Carberry's second day back after serious injury.
He hopes to return for Listowel on Monday.
Apprentice Paul Fitzsimons was yesterday banned for six days for irresponsible riding on board Kilcullen Lad in the Royal School For The Blind Claiming Stakes at Sandown.
