STRIKER SCOTT McDonald insists the Celtic squad have no problems with the weekend city-centre curfew imposed by manager Gordon Strachan.
After a series of incidents involving his players in Glasgow this season, the Parkhead boss has banned his squad from drinking alcohol at all during the week and from socialising in the city centre at weekends.
The players will be subject to a club fine if found to have broken the rules, which were also backed by chief executive Peter Lawwell.
McDonald, preparing for tonight's Champions League Group E clash with Villarreal at Celtic Park, accepts the spirit in which Strachan acted.
"There is no problem," the former Motherwell player said. "Incidents have happened and there have been concerns and rightly so I think.
"There is no reason why we shouldn't go out every now and again and enjoy ourselves as normal human beings, as everyone likes to do.
"We are going to have to find other places to do that, but that suits me fine because, at the end of the day, we want to go somewhere where you are not going to be noticed and you just fit in.
"Everyone is accepting it and will get on with it."
Celtic, bottom of Group E, have no chance of qualifying for the last 16 or of playing in the Uefa Cup, but McDonald insists they will be looking to finish this season's European campaign on a high.
"Hopefully we can keep a clean sheet, and it would be nice to finish off with a couple of goals.
"We have to concentrate on the domestic game after this match and we have to win the league to get back again."
Meanwhile, Strachan will stand by goalkeeper Artur Boruc by keeping him in his side tonight.
The Poland international's latest high-profile error came at Hibernian on Sunday when he let a speculative, 45-yard strike from John Rankin slip through his body to help end the champions' 12-match winning run in the Premier League.
Numerous pundits and former Celtic players have called for Strachan to drop the player.
"Artur is going to play tomorrow night and that's all I really want to say on the Artur Boruc subject," he said.
