Bluebelle can defy top weight on her reappearance in the Jennifer's Diary Handicap at Sandown tonight. This late developing daughter of Generous had a steady campaign as a three-year-old and is just the sort to make much bigger waves this time.
She did not make her debut until June of last year when fourth of 11 to the subsequently smart Kissogram at Yarmouth. After a placed run at Kempton, she won her maiden at Chester, beating Andalish by three-quarters of a length in a mile and a half race.
Bluebelle is just the sort of animal with which trainer Mark Prescott excels and there must be every reason to expect his filly to be fighting fit with the Newmarket trainer enjoying a truly remarkable run of form.

Rita's Rock Ape was simply too quick for her rivals over the fast five furlongs and had 1 1/2 lengths to spare over Tuscan Dream.
The four-year-old went to Brighton, another very quick track, for a classified stakes last Monday and once again burnt off the opposition. Indeed, if she had not hung persistently right in the closing stages she would have beaten La Piazza by more.
