Fairyhouse Report:Trainer Michael Hourigan has revealed that Beef Or Salmon's withdrawal from the November Handicap at Leopardstown on Sunday was due to a knock to his head which resulted in blood appearing in his nostrils.

Speaking following Kerryhead Sunshine's win in the Christmas Hospitality Maiden Hurdle yesterday, Hourigan said: "Beef Or Salmon hit his head either on the lorry, in the stable, or in the saddling enclosure, which resulted in blood appearing in his nostril.

"The injury is similar to what happened to Istabraq before he won his third Champion Hurdle, and Beef Or Salmon has scoped clean and has been given a clean bill of health; there is nothing wrong with him."

Hourigan added Hi Cloy will run against Moscow Flyer in Sunday's Fortria Chase at Navan.
