So Allied Irish Bank (AIB) and London Irish Rugby Club have set up a sponsorship deal for this, their centenary season, involving a "substantial six-figure investment". Currently the brewing company Guinness sponsor London Irish and do so in quite a literal type of way - a pint of the brew is pictured on the front of their shirts.

Are we now to see the bank advertise in a similar manner? What could they put on the front of a London Irish shirt to educate the consumer about their speciality? A mound of DIRT?
