CELTIC have been awarded the European Commission Scottish equality award for work against bigotry. The award was made yesterday at the Glasgow City Chambers and the club's managing director Fergus McCann said: "It is a great honour for the club, and particularly for the supporters, that Celtic have been chosen."

Today is the first anniversary of the "Bhoys Against Bigotry" campaign and McCann described progress in the first year as "remarkable".
