ATLETICO Madrid coach Radomir Antic believes Middlesbrough's brilliant Brazilian Juninho will be plying his trade in Spain next season.
It has been well documented that the 22-year-old midfielder is determined to quit the Riverside this summer following Boro's relegation from the Premiership last season and would prefer a move to Spain.
Atletico have so far been the only club to make an approach to the Teessiders and there have been suggestions that Boro are now ready to drop their asking price from £12.5 million to £9 million for a player who cost them £4.5 million when he arrived from Sao Paulo 18 months ago.
Antic, a former player with Luton, said: "Juninho is attracted to the idea of our new plans and that will be the key which in the end brings him to us. He's a born winner and the rest of the team will catch it from him."
Juninho claims he was left off Brazil's Copa America team by coach Mario Zagalo partially because English soccer is seldom seen in Brazil.
"If you play for a small club in Europe, particularly England, few people will see you play."
