DARREN ANDERTON fired home two goals as Tottenham kept their slim hopes of qualifying for Europe alive with a 3-1 lead over Leeds at Elland Road last night.
Spurs conceded an early goal to David Wetherall, equalised through Chris Armstrong in the 18th minute, and took the points with goals from Anderton, making only his second start after a seven month lay off, either side of halftime. It was Leeds United's sixth successive defeat and their worst run of results for 49 years. Leeds were without eight first team squad members.
