Sir, - Leinster House would make an ideal home for the Abbey Theatre.
I think it was Homan Potterton who had the idea to turn it into an arts block, the nucleus for the National Gallery, Library, Museum and History Museum. It would be a most impressive centre for the arts.
The Dail could move to a larger, traffic-free, state-of-the art building on a new site. A suitable status symbol for the 21st century - maybe in Mr Ahern's constituency north of the river. - Yours, etc.,
