Sir, – I was fortunate enough to attend the match between Ulster and Edinburgh on Saturday. I was shocked and dismayed at the behaviour and bad sportsmanship of the Ulster supporters from start to finish.
They booed the announcement of each Edinburgh player as soon as they appeared on the big screen and this continued throughout the game until the final whistle! In many years of being a rugby fan I have never encountered such behaviour and hope never to again.
Shame on Ulster! – Yours, etc,
Sir, – I was pleasantly surprised to see quite a number of Ulster flags among the Northern Ireland flags at Saturday’s Ulster v Edinburgh match at the Aviva stadium. – Yours, etc,
Sir, – The results headline should read “South Africa 22- Edinburgh 19”, as all of Ulster’s points were scored by South African imports.
No wonder the Irish squad is in no great shape. – Yours, etc,
