Madam, – Congratulations to Frank McNally on hitting the nail on the head regarding the “céilí bling” phenomenon (An Irishman’s Diary, June 15th). He calls on the feis mammies of the world to rise up and revolt for the sake of the children. Seeing as these mammies have allowed things go so far, I respectfully suggest that it is with Mr McNally and the other feis daddies that all hope of a successful revolution lies! – Yours, etc,
