Madam, - Angela McKenna (October 16th) is right about the standard of service from ATMs in Ireland.
As an AIB customer I find the Banklink machines the worst offender rarely offering anything other than €50 notes. I find myself using the Ulster Bank ATMs instead, which usually have €20 or even €10 notes.
Apart from the inconvenience, AIB then charges me a fine for using the ATMs of other banks! Unbelievable, but true. - Yours, etc,
