A chara, - Irrespective of the stated support of all, or a majority of the political parties, for one or the other side in a referendum, the two propositions have a total and equal and legal status. If one were to concede that because of the position of a majority of the political parties, this should allow an input into the conduct of the referendum, then why not go a step further and permit them to decide the outcome of the referendum?
