Madam, - Having read Hugo Brady Brown's letter (November 10th) concerning Our Lady's Choral Society's recent performance of Karl Jenkins's The Armed Man at the National Concert Hall, it is apparent that classical music attracts its fair share of "stuffed shirt" patrons.
Music, of all types, is there to be enjoyed. I heard a performance of The Armed Man in the Helix about two years ago, and it received a most enthusiastic reception from a packed audience. Excerpts from this work are among the most frequently requested pieces on Lyric FM. - Yours, etc,
