Madam, – At Christmas I decided to visit my great-grandchildren in Canada – Lelia in Nova Scotia and Benjamin in Newfoundland. I am 91 years old and travelled in a wheelchair. Aer Lingus and Air Canada were very accommodating and looked after me very well. I travelled from Cork to Heathrow, Heathrow to Nova Scotia, Nova Scotia to Newfoundland and back. The whole journey took 19 days during which time I was strip-searched six times. Is this a record? – Yours, etc,
