Sir, - The Spencer Dock proposal looks like a 1960s/70s developer's dream of El Dorado in Dublin. Far from being a vision for the future, it is a nightmare from the past and no amount of propaganda can disguise this.
It is no more than a repetition of the standard commercial architecture that can be seen in any North American city and is utterly unrelated to Dublin.
Ireland needs a conference centre and Spencer Dock needs developing, but this is not the solution. - Yours, etc.,
