Sir, – Sinn Féin claims to be a democratic party. The party has announced that it now has a new leader in Northern Ireland. The public has not been informed as to how this person was chosen, but we know one thing, she was not chosen democratically. This is a long way from other political parties who, at least, allow other publicly elected representatives to have a vote on their leadership. This anomaly has not received much media coverage. – Yours, etc,
