A chara, - Chris Ryder, in his article on the potential for reform of the RUC, says: "The badge with its harp, crown and shamrocks could also remain". Given that symbolism seems to play such a large role (in both communities), why can the harp not take its rightful place beside the crown, instead of being under it?
