Sir, - Rev Michael Manning asks (June 28th) with regard to the doctrine of transubstantiation: "How could the Catholic Church, which believes this as an article of faith, share the Eucharist with those who don't?"
As long as those with authority in the main churches continue to hold sectarian, non-inclusive views, of which this remark is an example, the situation in the North will never be resolved. - Yours, etc.,
