Madam, – Would someone in Sinn Féin say what is obvious to everyone: that the murder of Mary Travers in 1984 was brutal, cowardly and simply wrong (“SF defends giving Stormont post to convicted killer”, May 27th).
To revisit the terrible hurt by the appointment of the unelected Mary McArdle as a ministerial adviser at Stormont, demonstrates a breathtaking insensitivity among the leadership of that party. – Yours, etc,
