Sir, - Despite the widespread public anger about the abuses now being revealed there is a perception that, at the end of the day, those who robbed the rest of the community will mostly get away unscathed. There has been no sign of remorse, apology or any willingness to make even token restitution.
If this is not to happen, anger alone is insufficient. It would be interesting to know if anyone has any effective ideas about how the community could ensure that justice is done and seen to be done. - Yours, etc.,
G. Palmer, Taney Rise, Dundrum, Dublin 14.
