Madam, - Anthony Sheridan (September 8th) states quite clearly that because he has rejected the existence of God he and those who hold the same viewpoint are more evolved than we who believe in God's existence. ("Humans who have rejected the existence of supernatural beings are those who no longer have a need for this evolutionary support.")
May I recommend that Mr Sheridan borrow from us less evolved religionists something which is crucial to spiritual development but also integral to human social development - namely, a little humility? - Yours, etc,
