A chara, - Labour leaders are claiming that the Irish have "matured" to the point where they can accept same-sex couples on a par with the natural family.
Is this a sign of maturity or rather of moral decadence? Is this not distorted thinking that would destroy the basic foundation of a healthy nation - the natural family?
Mr Rabbitte says the Oireachtas "must rise to the challenge" by enacting the legislation required. Hopefully all right-minded TDs will "rise to the challenge" and put the Howlin/Rabbitte bill where it properly belongs - in the bin. - Is mise,
