Sir, - Whatever happened to that tried and trusted rule of the road, "keep left - pass right"? There is little or no evidence of its observance on our roads.
Given the large increase in traffic volumes in recent years, the proper application of this simple rule by motorists would improve road safety, ease congestion and make driving on Irish roads less stressful, particularly at peak times. - Yours, etc.,
