Sir, - I am delighted to see that Solas FM has received a licence to broadcast a "broad-based Christian service for the church-going community in Dublin" (The Irish Times, May 1st). I am looking forward to the day when another group is awarded a similar licence to broadcast a broad-based humanist service for the non-church-going community in Dublin.
With the current output of RTE Radio 1 serving more than adequately the Christian Community in Dublin and elsewhere in Ireland, perhaps one could understand my disappointment that the non-religious of the city were not catered for first. - Yours, etc.,
