Sir - As we enter the fifth week of the current rail strike, I continue to appreciate the difficulties facing Iarnrod Eireann in its dealings with the unrecognised ILDA. I can't help feeling however, that if the disruption affected the "Doort" - and thus inconvenienced the pampered masses of South Dublin as opposed to the long suffering commuters from Kildare, Drogheda and Cork - the issue would have been resolved long before now - Yours, etc.,
Maurice McCrum, Rush, Co Dublin.
