Sir, – Much is made of the public servants’ pensions and allowances as if they were the primary responsibility for the sorry mess that the country finds itself in.

This is not the case. The sorry mess we are in rests squarely and fairly on the sheer greed of “Corporate Ireland” in all its 50 shades of pink, and it is to “Corporate Ireland” that the Government should look to, for a bigger slice of its cake, before all the country’s wealth ends up in Bermuda. – Yours, etc,
