Madam, - On last Thursday's main evening news on RTÉ, a journalist covering the EU summit in Thessaloniki reported "the depressingly familiar scenes" of anti-globalisation protests. Why does our national TV company see fit to characterise anti-globalisation protests as depressing? Surely they are a healthy response and a sign that there are people willing to think differently. - Yours, etc.,
