Madam, - Upon a recent visit to the Abbey Theatre I was charged a student rate of €9.50 for admission.
A mere year ago the student rate was €6.50 and the year previous to that £3. One would have thought our National Theatre would aim to encourage young people to attend plays, not drive them away. I for one am disgusted. -Yours etc.,
