Madam, – A general election is not far away. Might I suggest that when it is announced, in each constituency a booklet should be issued giving the names, photographs, CVs and programmes of each candidate? All candidates would have an equal space to fill and would share equally in the cost of publication. A voter would tend to keep this for reference, where ordinary leaflets get thrown away.
