Sir, - I would like to comment on the letter of Father David O'Hanlon on April 8th. The language used in the letter reflects very badly on the writer.
I defend his right to express his views, but the tone and language of the letter suggests a mindset which I hoped had disappeared from the priesthood. However, I was mistaken and I am saddened as a result. I am blessed in that I have not encountered it in the priests with whom I work and have worked. - Yours, etc.,
