Sir, - Mary Ryan (July 18th) articulates well her response to the Pope's outburst against the march by homosexuals in Rome. She suggests that heterosexuals might seek agreement from homosexuals to join any future march to show solidarity with the right of the homosexual community to declare their identity.
May I add that perhaps homosexual priests and nuns - statistically there must be many, many thousands - also join forces to demonstrate the hurt these good men and women must feel. - Yours, etc.,
