Madam, - While I am in general agreement with Fred Johnston's Irishman's Diary of August 13th, it is regrettable that neither he nor the sub-editor responsible thought to check the spelling of the French word patrimoine.
It is spelt throughout as " patrimonie", and even the elegant italicisation cannot compensate for such an egregious error. Surely there is a French dictionary in your library? - Yours, etc,
