Sir, - The new FAI treasurer tells your correspondent, Paul Buttner, that £162,000 owed to his association for tickets since 1994 "will and must be paid in full by August 1st".
This means that he must over a 16 day period collect an average of £10,125 a day - and that's including four days for Saturdays and Sundays. The fact that so many people are on holidays at this time of year won't be a help either.
