Sir, Dr Elizabis McVanderberghe rote in your February 27th issue about how up set she was over the appalling spelling and grammer in your paper. If thats all she has to werey about, she must not have much to do in Portroe, Nenagh. We all cannot be perfect including news papers and doctors. I wonder if she ever makes a mistake? Maybe her calling should have been a teach her instead of a doctor.

It is possible that the person who wrote this article had a bad day. For all we know, he could have large hands and fingers. This would affect his typing ability. Maybe his spell and grammer check wasn't working that day. What ever the reason, leniency should be in order. I also read that Elizabeth was suffering from "shock" and "fear". It is my suggestion that she go see a doctor. A long lie down on a couch might best assist as a remidy.

Since you have so much time on your hands, I was hoping you could correct the mistakes which I have made. I am still learning my compound words, synonyms, antonyms and homonyms. Lighten up, Ms. Vanderberghe, read between the lines and have a nice day. Yours, etc, Silverthorn Drive, Oakville, Ontario, Canada, L6L 5N4.
