Sir, I learned with interest in your property pages that Trinity College has acquired Oisin House - formerly McKenzies, home for some years to the Department of Social Welfare, and possibly the most tasteless building in central Dublin (if Hawkins House will forgive my presumption).
Is it too fanciful to suggest that the new owners might reface the exterior of this featureless concrete block? (If all else fails and the rental income falls behind, the Engineering Department could always test it to destruction.) - Yours, etc.,
