Sir, - After the trojan work undertaken by all concerned in the signing of the Northern Ireland Agreement, it is now incumbent on the Government to ensure that a copy is delivered through the letterbox of every house. This agreement should be brought to the people as part of an information campaign, not left to the initiative of those who call to libraries, post offices or Garda stations to collect a copy.

Your editorial of April 15th rightly states: "The referendum test of the agreement is more than a month away. But these early days and weeks are critically important." Informed debate is essential to allow every citizen to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity in the exercise of democracy. - Yours, etc.,

Terry McNulty,

Rose Hill, Wicklow.
