No fare deal for teens?

Madam, – As a second-level student in the 16-19 year-old age group, Laura O’Doherty (October 7th) is not required to pay a full adult fare for her rail commute.

Iarnród Éireann offers a discounted student/scholar five-day ticket for second-level students from all stations in the Dublin commuter area in this age category, (valid with an Iarnród Éireann ID card.

This card can be obtained from the Dart office in Pearse Station. – Yours, etc,
