Sir, I wish, through your paper, to thank Mr Eoghan Harris for dispelling some of the myths of the 1916-22 period. I was heartened to learn from him that "Pearse and the other (1916) leaders were treated pretty well by the British" (Mr Harris's letter, October 12th).
To think that all my life, I had actually believed that the 1916 leaders were executed by the British! Thank you, Mr Harris, for dispelling this myth. Yours, etc.,
