Sir, - Given the humble housing conditions of the One whose birthday we are celebrating next January 1st, would Dublin Corporation not consider building a hostel for the many homeless persons, young and old, who now live on our city streets?
Such a project would scarcely draw the controversy of the millennium light, and would manifest a concern for those who will have little else to celebrate. - Yours, etc.,
