Sir, – Ireland is a uniquely positioned Atlantic island surrounded by an abundant energy resource – wave power.
I cannot understand why our Government has been so tardy in exploiting this “constant” energy source.
To my certain knowledge, a number of highly skilled and well- motivated engineers and inventors are already well advanced on a remarkable and viable method of harnessing this energy without damage to our environment or impairing our world famous natural landscape.
In our present distressed and fragile economy the potential savings and job creation possibilities are immense. – Yours, etc,
