Madam, - What does Friday's front page tell us about our society?
It is dominated by a picture of a smiling, waving Minister of Health,who says she is "100 per cent happy" and is described by Miriam Lord as "looking great, with new hairdo, flawless make-up and smiling eyes".
Meanwhile, an item in the News Digest refers us to a page 3 report that Pat Joe Walsh bled to death in the care of the State's health service in Monaghan due to "dysfunctional processes and relationships" and a "sustained failure of management".
To preside over such an abomination would make any caring person hang their head in shame. - Yours, etc,
