Sir, – Ah yes the “sclerotic view of sexuality” (March 21st) as seen on RTÉ in The Documentary That Had Just About Everything. The Reliable Narrator, The Feckless Father, The Overwhelmed Mother, The Three Sisters, The Man From Brooklyn, The Wise American Child, The Glossy Editor, The Perceptive Patsey and above and beyond all these The Glorious Mystery of the Transforming Power of Love as personified by the palpable screen absence of Nell McCafferty which worked so magically and well. A tremendous achievement all round makes me proud to pay my TV licence, this year anyway. – Yours, etc,
