Madam, – In relation to the Netherlands, Anthony Faiola and Juliet Eilperin make the extraordinary claim (World News, December 8th) that two-thirds of the land mass is below sea level.The true figure is something between one quarter and one third (estimates vary) but nothing near two-thirds. Perhaps your correspondents meant to say that two-thirds of the country’s population live below sea level. – Yours, etc,
