Sir, - I see that the Minister for Health and Children, Mr Cowen, says that a strategy for children is on the way. He was speaking at the Children's Rights Allian0ce Conference in the Royal Hospital, Kilmainham.
Perhaps he can start by having a word with Mr Micheal Martin and ask him to stop cutting staff in inner-city schools. They need all the resources that are available. Most parents and teachers would strongly support the views of Ms Lesley Miller of UNICEF when she stated: "Children have no vote, voice or avenues to demand their rights."
