Madam, - Having received notification of the 33 per cent increase in the price of gas, I am stunned that such a large percentage has been approved.
While I am resigned to accepting this increase I am horrified to read the small print offering a cheap rate to older people if they use less gas. This is a most cruel offer. Any coroner will tell you that the elderly need more heat, not less. They need hot meals, not cold.
Can this offer be reversed without further delay? - Yours, etc,
