Madam, – In response to Stephen Joyce’s hilarious and well thought-out letter (October 7th) in relation to auctioning off our dainty little isle to the highest bidder, I would also like to suggest an alternative solution to our economic second-world woes – the legalisation of drugs, prostitution and gambling. If it can work in the Netherlands it can work here.
Our country is a basket case, we may as well run with this particular theme that our politicians have created for us. – Yours, etc,
