Sir, - I have been a loyal and enthusiastic reader of your newspaper for many years. It has always been my habit to spread your the paper on the kitchen table and to read it from front page to back, turning the pages with my left hand. I now find that I have developed tennis elbow in my left arm and this is directly attributable to my actions whilst reading your newspaper.
Now, Sir, I know you to be a reasonable and honourable man and am confident that you will do the decent thing by forwarding your offer of compensation within seven days. Otherwise, I'll see you in court ! - Yours etc., John McDwyer,
Summerhill, Carrick on Shannon, Co Leitrim.
