A chara, - May I correct a few mistakes made by Jim Cusack in his front page article of December 25th-27th?
Could Mr Cusack inform me who it is that believes I am a leading member of the IRA? Prior to and at the time of my arrest in London in July 1996 I was a volunteer in the IRA.
I was not arrested in 1990 on the Dutch-German border. At that time I was already two years in prison custody in Germany.
I have never served a prison sentence in Holland.

By implication Mr Cusack involves me in the deaths of a sixmonth-old baby, a German woman and two Australian tourists. Mr Cusack is wrong on all counts. - Yours, etc.,
